April’s Game Changer is Shafiq Kahn, the founder of The Teach the World Foundation.   We are working to schedule an interview with him to hear about his new venture.

Shafiq is taking his collective experiences from transforming the sale of travel globally and applying it to education.

This month’s Game Changer is Pedro Ceron, the co-founder of Travel Massive Tampa Bay.

When Pedro first called me to talk about starting a Travel Massive chapter, I got together with him just because I enjoy his company so much.  I couldn’t possibly squeeze one more commitment into my schedule.

But when we got together I realized that he was going to change the Travel Massive game and change business networking for my community, not just for the travel industry, but for the events, the arts and the historical side of our community.

This month’s Game Changer is my favorite cartoonist of all time, Tom Fishburne, aka the Marketoonist™. And that is saying a lot, seeing as how I used to read comic books under the bedcovers with a flashlight when I was little.

Tom has literally made an art form of clever parody.  My mother would have called him snarky, but she would have done it with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.

The message of each cartoon hits home, mirroring the absurdity of real life.

I am grateful that God gave Tom such an amazing sense of clarity in communicating what we REALLY need to hear.  That in itself changes the game.  When you can add his amazing brand of tongue-in-cheek humor?  Well, that borders on brilliance.
